Pesticide recertification
The Virginia Cooperative Extension is providing an online self-paced commercial pesticide applicator recertification course, in lieu of the traditional in-person course offered at West Oaks Farm Market or the Northern Virginia 4-H Center.
Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Office of Pesticides has approved this course to deliver recertification in Virginia categories: 1A, 1B, 3A, 3B, 6, 10, and/or 60. The course fee is $60 and each applicator must register online at the following link: https://tinyurl.com/5d89s2rx.
The course opened on March 1 and will be available until March 31. It is a self-paced course with recorded video presentations. Every applicator is required to do the Legal Update and Pesticide Safety sections.
