Garner, NC (September 30, 2021) – At 3:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, September 30, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Garner.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Aversboro Road and Lakeside Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
