In-house Solicitor (part-time)
Due to business growth, G1 Group plc is seeking a commercially minded solicitor for a permanent part-time role. Best known for the hospitality arm of the business, with venues including Glasgow’s Corinthian Club and The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh, G1’s diverse business interests also include a large convenience store chain and a property development and construction arm.
Reporting into our Legal Director, the role will be commercial property and commercial contracts focussed but there will be opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the business too.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years PQE in a commercial law environment, with some experience in commercial property being a prerequisite. The minimum PQE reflects the basic level of experience sought in a candidate but applications from candidates with significantly greater PQE are welcome.
A commitment of around 2-3 days per week is required and we are happy to discuss exact hours and working patterns as part of the recruitment process. It is expected a proportion of the working week could be delivered from home, with the rest in our Head Office in the west end of Glasgow.
