Ulmer & Berne announced leadership changes to the Ohio-based firm’s 20-plus-lawyer health care practice group; partners Jennifer Lawry Adams and Daniel Gottesman are moving into the roles of co-group leaders, and Raymond Seiler is serving as vice group leader. The promotions come as the firm contends with increasing client demand and “exponential growth” in the health care practice, which has reportedly taken the form of $2 billion in transaction value since January 2020, firm leaders said in a statement.
Leadership changes at Ulmer & Berne took place amid additions to its litigation practices; the firm said in an Aug. 10 press release: Michelle Casper joined the firm’s business litigation practice team as counsel in Columbus. That move came shortly before Zachary D. Bahorik joined as a business partner in Cincinnati, according to an Aug. 18 statement by the firm. Respectively, those lawyers came from SmithAmundsen and Robbins Kelley Patterson & Tucker.
