Raleigh, NC (June 8, 2021) – At 7:24 p.m. on the evening of Monday, June 7, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of East Lenoir Street and Rock Quarry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
