Raleigh, NC (December 27, 2021) – At 8:04 a.m. on the morning of Monday, December 27, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of New Bern Avenue and North Rogers Lane. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the intersection was blocked for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
